Principal's Message

I am delighted to be joining the Midland Park community as the new principal at Godwin School!  I am eager to meet our children in September and to start another exciting year of learning and growing.   I plan to work closely with our Godwin staff, families, and community members to provide each child with a safe, successful academic and social experience.  Whether a child needs a little extra support or is demonstrating readiness for academic enrichment, we will work diligently to help every child reach their highest potential.

August will be a very busy and exciting month at Godwin. I am currently getting familiar with our curriculum, programs and activities, and so many new faces.  Our teachers and custodians are also working hard to prepare our building and classrooms for the arrival of the children.  Please feel welcome to stop and visit me at Godwin this summer or at any time during the school year.  Contact me at any time with questions, concerns, or to simply introduce yourself.

 I hope everyone is having a restful and relaxing summer.  These enjoyable summer days sometimes quickly slip away.  Please take time to read with your child and complete math packets during the remainder of the summer.  This practice will help your child get off to a positive start, while minimizing “catch up” time in September.  Be on the lookout for more information about the 2012-2013 school year in the coming weeks.  See you in September!
